A two day training workshop ‘Masterclass on Green Hydrogen Ecosystem’ was arranged under the Ministry of Skill Development and Entrepreneurship, Govt. of India. The workshop was through extended invitations and covered various aspects of Green Hydrogen as a growing energy segment spanning its entire value chain. There were various interactive techno-commercial working sessions with Industry and Govt. experts coupled with insights of policy/regulatory framework in India and other geographies viz. US, EU, etc. In other words, the training was intended for a holistic look at the critical elements to transition Green Hydrogen from a ‘Project’ to a ‘Product’.
The Govt. of India has launched its ambitious Green Hydrogen Mission earlier this year wherein there are definitive goals for creating a Hydrogen ecosystem in India along with immediate incentives to materialize the goals. One of the other focus area is building a cross-board Hydrogen skill-base in India towards our Hon. Prime Minister’s goal of Clean Energy Transition and creating a Circular Economy through Green Growth and Green Jobs. Hydrogen energy is perceived as a natural strategic direction for the existing conventional energy fraternity. Certificates were awarded to successful candidates after due assessment.
